This was a good source because it told ideas about possible faster means of traveling to Mars and some of the ways that probes work.

Moore, Patrick, Guide to Mars, 1978, New York, W. W. Norton and Company.
This primary source told me about the ways that astronomers used to study Mars.

Whipple, Fred L., Orbiting the Sun: planets and Satellites of the Solar System, London, England. Harvard University Press.
This told me about the composition of Mars and its moons. The book also told about the recent probes to Mars.

This article tells about the river like paths that were found by the MGS.

Richardson, Robert S, and Bonestell, Chesley, Mars, New York, Hardcourt, Brace, and World.
This book was on nothing but Mars and I drew large amounts of information from this primary source.

Goldsmith, Donald, Hunt for Life On Mars, 1997, New York, New York, Penguin Group.
This book recounted what happened when a Mars rock was found in Antarctica. It told about the renewed interest in Mars that formed when the imprints of erosion formed life like fossils.

This magazine article told about the furthering lack in interest in space and space exploration.

This primary source told about future plans to visit the Red Planet.
